Closing Celebration

The official Noosa alive! closing party brings the town alive with a musical extravaganza in the Rococo beach Club Marquee. BEATNIX A tribute to the greatest band ever to live, THE MARTINI CLUB and THE REVEREND JACKSON join local musical and performance icons to create Noosa!s biggest ever beach party. This is a family friendly event and everyone is encouraged to dress Noosa alive! The biggest beach BBQ, oyster shuckers tent and the sangria bar are just a few of the event offerings.

It was February 1980, 10 months before the untimely death of John Lennon, that Australia and possibly the world’s, first tribute show THE BEATNIX was conceived and produced. The highly acclaimed show is arguably the longest standing and most successful of its kind in the world. The BEATNIX captures the excitement and atmosphere of The Beatles early concerts in this award winning tribute to the greatest band to ever live.

The Martini Club have paved the way in merging live DJ!S and instrumentalists to produce a totally unique sound. Armed with horns, an arsenal of percussion, tasty guitar, sassy vocals and a funky DJ.

Is back walking on the wild side and bringing the house down. Jeff Duff and the Jeff Duff band featuring the astounding Glenn Rhodes, Jack Housden (The Whitlams) and Jess Ciampa.

Noosa’s iconic MR BOWEN will wheel the Rococo white baby grand to the sands of main beach to recite some of his favourite numbers. Craig is an unsung hero of the local music scene. A musical prodigy, fluent in eleven instruments, Rococo and Hastings Street resident piano man bringing Noosa alive!
